One of the last major ongoing projects I was assigned as Granite's marcom intern was to create YouTube thumbnails for video content that would be posted to their YouTube channel.
Every thumbnail follows a specific and simplistic style, and I followed it accordingly while also making the necessary adjustments to the screengrabs that were taken in Adobe Premiere pro and then used for the thumbnail picture (i.e. color correction, brightness adjustments, etc.)
Some of the thumbnails are using photos of the projects that were on our digital Asset management system, since the screencaps taken from the video ended up being too pixelated once reformatted for the correct Thumbnail size.
All of the YouTube thumbnails were created in Adobe Photoshop.
For the Three generations at granite video, i ALSO MADE THE "SCRAPBOOK" ANIMATION SHOWCASING THE INFORMATION FROM THE SPRING 1984 EDITION OF pEOPLE & pROJECTS OF GRANITE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY THAT YOU CAN SEE FROM 2:05 TO 2:12. tHIS WAS CREATED BOTH IN aFTER eFFECTS AND PHOTOSHOP.
